<Selection of corrugated carton die-cutting method>
Corrugated carton die-cutting methods include flat die-cut die cutting, round press die cutting and round die half die cutting.
Flat die-cut die-cutting uses a flat die cutter, which uses a flat die cutter. At the time of die-cutting, the blade cuts through the entire corrugated cardboard at the same time. The die-cutting accuracy is high and the cost is low, but the speed is slow and the web is limited. Can not die-cut large cartons, suitable for small batches, high precision medium and small color cartons.
Circular die cutting uses arc-shaped wood and roller cutters. Because it is die-cutting the corrugated cardboard while rolling the die cutter, the strength of the die cutter is required to be high, and the difficulty and cost of the die cutter are relatively high. The die-cutting method can achieve a very fast speed with a high degree of precision, a wide die-cutting width, and can die-cut a larger carton product, but at a higher cost. It is suitable for products with large batches and low precision requirements. Most carton users use this method.
Round die-cut die-cutting has been greatly improved on the basis of flat die-cut die cutting. It has various features of flat die-cut die-cutting, flat die-cutting die, low production cost and difficulty, high die-cutting precision, but The slow speed, high investment in technology and cost are not conducive to large-scale production, and the application is much less than the former two methods. Die cutter selection > When the specifications are accurate, the blade must be quenched. The hardness of the high-quality die cutter blade should be higher than the hardness of the blade body, which can extend the life of the die cutter.
The basic elements for selecting a circular press die cutting blade are tooth profile, height, thickness and hardness. The most basic tooth profile of a round press die cutting blade is 12 teeth/inch, and the transverse blade used with it is 8 teeth/inch. To reduce the depth of cut, reduce die-cutting pressure and increase machine speed, 10-tooth/inch inserts can be used for both circumferential and transverse die cutting to increase platemaking efficiency and die cutting.
Commonly used blade thickness 1.42mm, height 23, 8 ~ 26mm, the height of the blade is usually about 0.5mm higher than the circumferential height. Common hardness blade, transverse or head and tail blade can use high hardness blade, quenched blade is especially suitable for large-scale die-cutting.
< Reasonable selection of auxiliary materials>
Since the corrugated cardboard itself has compressibility and is easily deformed during die-cutting, it is not possible to use a sponge that is too hard. At the same time, the indentation strip may also generate pressure on the corrugated cardboard, resulting in deformation of the corrugated cardboard. In fact, these problems can all be solved through the rational use of consumables. For example, a sponge with a lower hardness but very good resilience can be used to achieve the purpose of pressing paper without over-squeezing and pressing the corrugated cardboard.
The sponges used for die-cutting include sponges, bomb sponges, anti-dandruff sponges, and decontamination grooves. The hardness of these sponges is different. Different sponges should be used in different locations. Generally, the hardness of the sponge used on both sides of the knife line is 35-40HS; in the narrow place, the sponge with a higher hardness is generally used, and generally 60 (one) S is suitable. Usually the height of the sponge should be 2mm higher than the blade peak; the harder sponge placed in the narrow place should be 0.5mm higher than the blade. When placing the sponge, it should be continuously affixed on both sides of the embedded knife line, generally 1mm from the knife line.
At the end of the rubber pad to be as flat as possible, and have a high resistance to cutting, rebound glue should be based on the height of the die cutter and the die-cut product may be set to avoid bad scrapping, die cutting uneven and other issues.
Hardness selection of die-cutting steel plate >
The die-cutting steel plate is too hard, which can easily cause the die cutter to become dull, thus changing the angle of the blade of the die cutter, affecting the quality of the die-cutting, and problems such as uneven die cutting and fluffing. If the hardness of die-cutting steel plate is too low, it will lead to wear of the bottom steel plate, and the convex part will easily cause jams. The hardness of the die cutter and the steel plate should be quite similar. If the hardness of the die cutter is lower than that of the steel plate, the die cutter can become dull and the hardness of the steel plate is too high. After the steel plate is deformed, it easily causes jams.
< Reasonable use of indentation lines to improve indentation quality >
Using indentation lines can greatly improve the indentation quality of corrugated boxes. Many carton manufacturers believe that corrugated cardboard itself is relatively thick and has a certain amount of deformation space. Indentation can be done without using indentation lines, but the quality of indentation is not high. Moreover, since the corrugated layer of the corrugated board is wavy, the die-cut steel wire may be pressed against the corrugated layer at the indentation, but it may also be pressed against the corrugation layer. Since it is not possible to control the pressure of the die-cut steel wire at the crests or troughs, it is not possible to control the indentation of the corrugated cardboard. This will result in a completely different impression of the indentation on the same knife template. If the indentation line is not used, the quality of the indentation pressed at the crest is poor, and the indentation protrudes on both sides. After the indentation, the length of both sides of the carton is asymmetric.
< Selection of indentation steel wire >
The indentation steel wire is crucial for the control of the molding precision of the box piece. The indentation steel wire plays a role in controlling the traveling speed after the box piece is detached from the paper feed wheel. The indentation steel wire material must have characteristics such as wear resistance and bending. According to different indentation needs, the shape of steel wire is single head line, double head line, round head line, flat head line and pointed line.
