After the exposure, the plate was cleaned with glue, and the unexposed portions of the plastic particles were washed away by water to expose the publishing base and form a blank portion of the plate. The exposed part of the particles has been fused and absorbed on the surface of the plate. As shown in Figure 12.

From the above process, it can be seen that there is no chemical treatment in the Azura plate exposure imaging to the printing process, and only the cleaning and gluing are required, which greatly simplifies the processing steps and has the following features.

ü No need to develop chemicals, reduce costs
ü No water circulation system, no waste liquid discharge, more environmentally friendly
ü True binary image, dot quality is not affected by changes in laser energy, concentration of wash solution, temperature, speed, etc.
ü Simplified production process
ü Aluminum plate printing directly, no need for hydrophilic coating, printability is exactly the same as ordinary plate, no need for any adjustment in the printing shop
ü High pressure resistance
ü Printing plate strong anti-printing chemicals
The Azura media debuted at Drupa last year and now has a large number of customers. Currently, almost all 830nm laser CTP devices can use this plate. In China, some customers have adopted Azura printing plates, and it is believed that this printing plate will bring yet another change in the field of prepress and plate making.
